The Bailey House

Bailey House provides adult family members who live outside the immediate Harrisburg area with a comfortable and convenient place to stay while their seriously ill loved one is hospitalized. A home away from home, the Bailey House is situated two blocks from UPMC Harrisburg at 119 & 121 Washington Street.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Bailey House and are a huge support to the House Coordinator. Volunteers offer a friendly and welcoming face to families staying at Bailey House. Volunteer opportunities include: organizing donations, administrative duties, light cleaning of common areas, restocking, and assisting guests with items they need.

Can Tab Collection

Save the can tabs! Don’t toss your drink, pet food or soup can before you pull the tab! These little scraps of metal add up in helpful ways. The Auxiliary recycles these little tabs earning money to support the Bailey House. Pinnacle Health Auxiliary is collecting pull-tabs from beverage and food containers to be recycled. We welcome donations from individuals, families, schools, offices, and community groups! All of the money we raise from this ongoing effort is used to support the needs of families staying at Bailey House while their loved ones receive treatment at UPMC of Central PA.
